Search Engines
I have learnt on how to use Google, Google Scholar, Yahoo, Directory Yahoo and Meta Search Engine. With these new search engines it will help me to search more about my topic( Volcanoes eruptions: causes and effects to society).

hey all, i'm back

I've just create my 2nd life account. To be honest, the 2nd life idea is really cool as people around the world can communicate with each other. Making new friends and maybe some enemy (hopefully not hahaha). I don't really spend a long time at the 2nd life because i can't really find any people there.

This week I'm learning the proper way to do internet searching on both google and google scholar. At first it doesn't really amaze me as i'm used to do random searching and spent hours just to find the particular site or topic that i'm looking for. After this lesson I've found out that there is an easier way to searching on google and google scholar. Just pick a topic, type in the keywords and google and google scholar will do the rest.

To me i prefer google scholar than google. Why??? well google scholar is for education purpose as most of the source were from the expert point of view although it has less results than google.

After spening hours on the computer searching on how volcano eruptions affect us, it all brings me to the same outcome. It shows that volcano eruptions can be either good or bad for the society. Among all the research that I have done, organisational research is the most useful as it gives me an expert point of view on the particular subject or topic.

Hey people, I'm Muhammad hafiz but you can call me fiz for short. Student from Temasek Polytechnic, Diploma in Mechatronics currently in year 3.2 (graduating soon haha).
What i like to do on my free time is to playing video games, hanging out with friends, listening to music, karting and etc. Well, i used to play soccer but after suffering form a knee ligament injury i rarely kick a ball these days. Hopefully i can recover quickly and continue playing soccer just like the old days.
Genres of music i listen to is more to indie rock or indie pop. Bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Death Cab For Cuite and all other indie bands.
As for TV Programmes, i like to watch sitcoms ( The big Bang Theory, How I Met Your mother), soccer and especailly formula1.
Favourite haning out place is cafe like starbucks or mcafe. We would spend hours talking and joking around.
